New Webinar Series from Oregon State University

The Cascadia Lifelines Program (CLIP) is excited to announce the 2020-2021 Webinar Series (http://cascadia.oregonstate.edu/2020_Webinars.html), which is focused on resilience within the state of Oregon and beyond. Topics this year include seismic response of silts, seismic rockfall, NIST resilience initiatives, power system resilience, post-disaster reconnaissance using state of the art technology, climate change, and more. Each webinar typically includes a 30-40 minute presentation followed by time for questions and discussion. These webinars are sponsored by the Cascadia Lifelines Program, which  conducts research that will allow Oregon’s lifeline providers to implement value- and cost-informed decisions to mitigate damage to Pacific Northwest infrastructure as the result of Cascadia subduction zone earthquakes.  Those interested may sign up for the CLiP Mailing List to stay informed of future events: https://it.engineering.oregonstate.edu/mailman/listinfo/clip_announce
